Los Alamitos, CA (June 10, 2019)— Roland Sands and crew have ignited a two-wheeled lifestyle explosion with the “Moto Classic Series” and as the 2019 Super Hooligan National Championship (SHNC) presented by Progressive and powdered by Indian steams towards Round 5, we’ve expanded our events with the Mayo Moto Street Classic in Tulsa Oklahoma. June 15th, Roland Sands Design joins forces with the Mayo Moto Museum on one of the greatest motorcycle, music, and art cultural experiences to hit the Midwest. This new festival features Super Hooligan riders racing through the streets of downtown Tulsa, The Lansing Street Drag Races, Stunt Show, Moto Classic Bike show, Stay Gold Art Show and vendor village, all accompanied by the biggest bands in Southern Soul Rock – JJ Grey & Mofro and the Paul Benjamin Band in the heart of the city with the picturesque Tulsa skyline as a backdrop.

The week after Tulsa, OK, the SHNC has added Perris Short Track in Perris, CA June 21st. “Super Hooligan racing was born and bred on the short tracks of Southern California, with the Hooligan X Games qualifier the day before and the Born Free motorcycle show that weekend we are pumped to be right smack in the middle of a So. Cal two-wheel enthusiast dream week”.
Roland and the SHNC team are constantly pushing to present their brand of Heavy Street bike racing to new audiences in diverse locations, so the series is making a stop August 7th at the Buffalo Chip in Sturgis, SD, where the Super Hooligan main race will conclude just as Snoop Dog takes the main stage. Two weeks later, the Super Hooligans will bang bars at the world-famous Utah Motorsports Campus in Salt Lake City, UT August 17th. More information on this exciting event to come. The Moto Bay Classic has been removed from the schedule this year due to location issues, but will be back with an even better event for 2020. Super Hooligan racing will also be back to Costa Mesa Speedway September 21st. “Super Hooligans roots originate from Harley Nights at Costa Mesa Speedway. The heritage the Speedway holds, and the program the Oxley’s present is Class act. We are pumped to bring the evolution of the Super Hooligan racing back to where it started,” adds Roland.
Round 4 of the 2019 Super Hooligan National Championship (SHNC) presented by Progressive powered by Indian was the 2nd collaboration between the SHNC and American Flat Tack (AFT) and concludes their racing event partnership for this season. Joe Kopp remained perfect in Perris winning his fourth Round in a row while setting a blistering pace capturing the Dunlop Fastest Lap for cash with a 22.184 … only 1.144 seconds off Pro Twins race winner Brandon Robinson’s fastest lap of 21.041 seconds. We can’t thank our partners at AFT enough for allowing us to bring our brand of heavy street bike racing to the most core enthusiasts of Flat Track racing and look forward to partnering again in 2020.

RSD recognizes that the SHNC would be nowhere without the efforts of the racers themselves, so for 2019 we have extended payouts to any racer that makes the A Main Event. We have also added the J & P Cycles Amateur Hooligan series that will have points and payouts for the top three finishers of the Amateur Main event.
SHNC sponsors are who make the series possible. Progressive MC Insurance jumped on board this year as the presenting Super Hooligan Series sponsor, Indian Motorcycle is the official team sponsor for RSD as well as overall support for the series. Dunlop is the official tire of Super Hooligan and brings back the Dunlop Dash for Cash. K & N Engineering continues its support of the holeshot award. Bell Helmets and Motul, have returned to support the series and contingency awards. New to the SHNC are Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys, WiseCo Performance Parts and Rekluse. A great addition to the series is J&P Cycles who is the title sponsor for the Amateur Hooligan series, helping ensure the sport continues and provide the best opportunity for newcomers to race safely.
