Get Down with the Sickness during the 79th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally
Sturgis, SD (March 25, 2019) – The gritty, growling vocals and ear-crushing guitar riffs of modern metal titans Disturbed will descend upon the Sturgis Buffalo Chip’s® Wolfman Jack Stage on Tuesday, Aug. 6. The multi-platinum metal foursome will perform as part of the Chip’s nine-day motorcycle and music festival in a line-up that includes some of the world’s most famous bands. “Disturbed is genuinely one of the greatest heavy metal bands performing today. Folks are going to be heading home with some great memories of an incredible concert,” said Rod Woodruff, Sturgis Buffalo Chip President. “Draiman has crazy distinctive vocals, and they have produced a string of rock-solid hits. We’re sure to witness an explosive performance this August!”
The band has produced five consecutive no. 1 albums, generating eight no. 1 singles, and 21 top 10 hits on Billboard’s Main Stream Rock chart. Hits such as “Down With the Sickness,” “The Vengeful One,” “The Light,” “Open Your Eyes,” and “Land of Confusion” propelled them to fame. After a brief hiatus the band returned and set their career on fire with “Sounds of Silence,” “Inside the Fire” and “Are You Ready.” Their newest album, “Evolution,” was released last fall.
