GERMANTOWN, Wis., Dec. 16, 2016 — J.W. Speaker Corporation has expanded its motorcycle headlight offering to include the industry’s first dynamically adaptive LED headlight designed to fit Victory motorcycles, featuring the diamond shape unique to this application.
“We appreciate our Victory motorcycle customers and could not be more excited to give them an Adaptive Series™ headlight, offering a custom fit and plug & play installation with this dynamically advanced technology,” said Kurt Kaufmann, Motorcycle Market Sales Manager at J.W. Speaker.
This new Adaptive Series headlight, referred to as the Model 8695 Adaptive, uses the same advanced electronics and on-board sensors as their predecessors, the Model 8790 and 8690 round Adaptive Series. This advanced technology enables the headlight to carefully calculate bank angles and automatically control the light, directing it to light up or down as the motorcycle leans. As a result, the adaptive headlight fills in the void of light to the left or right of the motorcycle, providing additional illumination and visibility when cornering.
The Model 8695 Adaptive utilizes high-quality LEDs, proprietary optics and adaptive technology to produce a superior beam pattern. The custom shape is designed to fit Victory motorcycles, with their one-of-a-kind diamond shaped headlight, offering riders plug & play installation.
“Our goal is to make a plug & play solution for as many motorcycles as possible. This year alone we are launching a Victory diamond fitment, a full line of metric fitment brackets and coming in spring of 2017, we will launch the world’s first Adaptive Series™ headlights for Road Glides,” said Kaufmann.
